Building resilient distributed backends in Go, and the TypeScript and React front-ends that sit on top of them
I'm a backend-heavy software engineer. Most of my work is in Go: microservices, event-driven backends handling millions of requests, and migrations that move production traffic off legacy systems without losing any of it. On the front end I work in TypeScript and React, building the interfaces those services power, with typed contracts against the APIs behind them. I turn challenging business requirements into maintainable, well-architected systems, and lately I've been studying application security, because understanding how systems break is making me a better engineer.
Backend & Architecture
Golang, microservices, RESTful APIs, gRPC, and clean architecture patterns. Experienced with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and building maintainable, testable systems
Distributed Systems
Event-driven architectures, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Focus on consistency patterns, fault tolerance, and resilient design
Infrastructure & Security
Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. Currently studying application security and secure development practices
Frontend
TypeScript and React for the interfaces on top of those backends: typed API clients, component-driven UIs, and state management that stays predictable as the product grows.
